Ledger
A Slack message becomes a tracked decision or commitment. Right-click it, confirm the owner, category and due date, and Ledger logs it. It DMs the owner reminders, and once a day it posts a public overdue nudge in the channel until the entry is resolved.
How it works
Right-click
Open the message's context menu in Slack and pick a Ledger shortcut.
Record
Two shortcuts: Record decision, or Record commitment.
Confirm
A modal asks for owner, optional category and due date. The logged date is auto-filled from the original message timestamp.
Tracked
The entry gets a short numeric ID. Reminders go out by DM; overdue entries get one public nudge a day in-channel.

Auto-filled logged date
The logged date comes from the original Slack message timestamp, not from when you got around to recording it.
Optional category
Tag an entry if your team wants grouping. Leave it blank if you don't.
Multi-tenant
One install per workspace, over Slack OAuth. Each workspace's entries and tokens are isolated.
Plain-text briefing
/ledger briefing prints a monospace table of open entries with short numeric IDs — readable in Slack, copyable into a standup note.
Public overdue nudge
Once a day, an overdue entry is posted back into its channel. Once. Until it's marked done or deleted.

Setup
Three steps. No configuration file, no admin console.
Install
Click Add to Slack and approve the OAuth screen. A workspace admin may need to approve it, depending on your Slack settings.
Invite the bot
In any channel you want tracked, type /invite @Ledger. The bot needs to be in the channel to post overdue nudges there.
Record something
Right-click any message → Record decision or Record commitment. That's the whole workflow.
FAQ / Contact
What does Ledger store?
The text of the Slack message you explicitly record, the entry metadata (owner, category, due date, logged date, status, ID) and your workspace's OAuth tokens. All in Postgres. No message content beyond what is explicitly recorded is stored.
Does it work with Enterprise Grid?
Not tested yet. Ledger is built as a standard multi-workspace Slack app, but we have not verified it on Enterprise Grid, so we won't claim support.
How do I install it?
Through Slack OAuth: api.ledger.runciter.app/slack/install.
How do I uninstall it?
Remove the app from your workspace in Slack's App Directory settings (Manage apps → Ledger → Remove). Slack revokes the tokens automatically on removal.
Are there published docs?
This page is the documentation for now. The privacy policy covers what Ledger collects, stores and shares. Anything neither answers: miguel@neuronetix.be.
Security & compliance
Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) for all API and OAuth traffic between Slack, this site, and the Ledger backend. Slack OAuth tokens are held server-side only and are deleted the moment a workspace uninstalls.
Access to production data is limited to Neuronetix. There is no third-party support team or contractor with standing access.
We do not currently hold any formal compliance certification (for example SOC 2 or ISO 27001). If that changes, this section will be updated.
To report a security issue, email miguel@neuronetix.be. We read every report and aim to acknowledge it within a few business days. There is no bug bounty program at this time.
